Day 2: Took my pine tree cards and a few of my “oppsie” attempts at the trees to my class on Thursday. My students, bless their hearts, thought they looked just great…I don’t think they were just being kind as several of them were taking notes on how it was done. Guess they aren’t all that bad after all.
Day 3: I have over 300 views of my pine trees on SUDSOL and have gotten several comments from – looks fine, leave it alone to “try this.” Later today when I get the top of my stamping table cleaned off so I have a spot to stamp I’m going to make another set of pine trees….by now this has turned into a pine tree obsession. I’m going to try a couple of the recommendations I received. So stand by to see the results.
BTW. Lovely as a Tree is one of my favorite stamp sets. When I look at my sample card sets this one has the most cards I’ve made from it from any of the other of **** stamp sets that I have (***I read somewhere that a hobby is just another form of mental illness…looking at how many stamp set I have perhaps that isn’t far off).
Maybe this set is the first one that I should scan and put in a photo gallery of my cards…I’ve been meaning to do that. Shoot I don’t need to sleep!
